“Sundrops keep fallin’ on my head…” da ta da ta da

“Sun Drops” is a very lively pattern. It can compliment Modern Geometric quilts but is just as comfortable with traditional piecing like Drunkard’s Path or a broken Nine-patch. It could even be used as a wide border for a Southwest look. But it is definitely BRIGHT. I’d use it on a sunny quilt with oranges and yellows and brilliant turquoise.

This INTERLOCKING panto is 10 inches tall (wide) and, of course, 12 feet long.

I even shrunk it and used it as a border!

Sophia

Sophia is an elegant, traditional looking pattern. Inspiration for it came from designs in the architecture of Istanbul’s “Hagia Sophia.”

This INTERLOCKING pattern is 9 inches wide and 12 feet long.

Bubble-Up

Bubble-Up is an exciting modern panto full of texture and depth. 10″ wide, 12′ long and slightly variable (if you want to simplify it).

Ivy Vine

Ivy Vine is one of those patterns that can be used again and again. It’s images compliment florals, Christmas, Nature and the like. Use it alone or pair it with “The Holly and The Ivy.” It’s leaves are the same.

It is 11″ wide, but that’s only because a little of the interlock slips over the 10″ that is the bulk of the pattern.

Yucca Blossom

I’m Crazy for Southwest. Just finished another panto – Yucca Blossom. It’s nostalgic for me, but maybe no one else. My family had a Desert cabin in Joshua Tree, the next town over was Yucca Valley. I even have Yucca plants at my home here in Kansas! The flowers are so full and beautiful – quite luxurious!

This interlocking pattern rolls straight down and is 11 inches wide.

Purple Thistles

“Purple Thistles” reminds me of Scottish kilts and prickly thistles on the hillsides. In fact when I was a little girl I played on a hill where thistles grew. They are curious flowers. This Interlocking panto is 10 inches wide and rolls straight down with ghost lines and instructions for easy placement.

Some things I learned about them on the web. “‘Scottish Prickly Purple Thistle'” is the national flower of Scotland. The proud and regal plant grows to a height of 5 ft…”

March winds have been all around and still continue into April! All the new little flowers that dare to lift their faces to the sun look like they’re nodding in the wind. That’s how these simple interlocking flowers will look dancing across your quilt.

Polar Bears

Chilly and white, Polar Bears are the masters of the polar ice. In this pattern you’ll also see some of their playful side. Three 10″ interlocking panels of 28 inches each.
