Victorian Gingerbread Borders & Blocks

It’s a set all on one roll! I couldn’t resist enlarging upon the theme so I created 4 coordinating 10” Blocks. Two of which can be divided into P2P triangles. The 5.5 inch border is adapted from the larger Int. Victorian Gingerbread. Also included are 2-inch border/sashings; “Gingerbread Hearts” and “Swirls.”

I love the beautiful scroll work in the eaves of old Victorian Homes. I hope this will remind you of that elegant by-gone era.

Maori Mokos are the bold swirling face tatoos and painting of New Zealand’s Maori people. I love studying about cultures and these images have fascinated me since my early interest in the National Geographic.

The softer geometric look this pattern creates will be perfect for many quilts that you were unable to find a stitching pattern for in the past. The roll includes 2 border patterns, both with corners if you choose. The 8″ x 11′ Maori Moko Border can also be stitched “Edge to Edge.” “Maori Collar” is a smaller 2.5″ border.

2 rows of 8 inches – I was riding past El Dorado, KS when drawing this pattern. I thought the sketch looked like ornate gold jewelry and the name seemed to fit. So, have fun gilding your next quilt with Spanish gold. To repeat rows you must be able to re-adjust the laser light or shift the paper.
