Australia has always been a somewhat mysterious continent to me. In the past several years I’ve met several quilter’s there – and well – they don’t seem so mysterious anymore. Just great Gals! In drawing these patterns I became acquainted with not only its quilters but its wildlife as well. I would love to visit there.
My Maori Moko patterns are based on the Maori designs of New Zealand. They’d make a nice addition to a Down Under quilt.
