Description
Santa Germany–Weihnachtsmann (“Christmas Man”)is taken from the Santa Around the World Book 1: the European Tradition. Germany has many names for Santa Claus. Most reflect variations of St. Nicholas such as Klaasbuur (Nicholas our neighbor) but I’ve chosen the father-like figure of Weihnachtsmann who trudges through the night with his burden of toys. (The word Weihnachtsmann is not included in the embroidery file – it was too crowded.~)
For the Digital Embroidery files there are 2 size options. 7.80″ which requires an 8×8″ (200 sq) hoop and 9.96″ requiring a 10×10″ (260 sq) hoop. *Note: I was unable to get rid of the extra color on a jump that the digitizer inserted. I tried multiple times and was afraid of damaging the picture. So when you see your screen you’ll be aware that you don’t need to change the color, yet.
The download gives several file types. The 9.96″ version is in PES, VIP, DST formats plus a PDF and PNG. The 7.80″ is in PES, VIP, DST, EXP, XXX, JEF, VP3 formats including a PDF and PNG. If they are not what you need, contact me.
All 12 Santas as a SET are also available for Embroidery Machines in 7.80 and 9.96″ sizes. Purchase them together and save $, or separately to pick and choose.
For the PDF PRINTABLE paper there is one download containing both a 7.80″ and 11″ size, all printable on “letter size” 8½x11 inch paper.
And the Paper versions are also available as Block Pattern Books – Santa Around the World Book #1- The European Tradition and #2-The Distant Lands.
Select carefully as you put them in your cart to get the correct option.
