Starfish 10″

Description

I envisioned a screen of Starfish dangling in the doorway of a beachcombers shack.  The stars are hung with raffia, hence the occasional bow tying sections together.  It could also be a surfside Christmas decoration, or 1 row could make a border.  Each row alone measures 5.5 inches.  Combined they measure 10 inches.

Vertical – What does that mean?  Simply load your quilt sideways on the long-arm and stitch row by row with the Raffia bow on the top.  They will be “hanging” down your quilt.  (I don’t think it would hurt if they were stitched across.  It’s up to you.)

Although it’s not really a Christmas pattern, the stars would be great!
