Description
Art by the Aboriginal people of Australia is delightfully distinctive. I love the stylized busy-ness of their paintings and fabric designs. Because it was “busy” I had to make this pattern a 14-inch size. I just could not get all I wanted squished into 10 inches. I do have a border with many of the same designs for those of you who want a narrower pattern.

Dot paintings are popular and symbols are important. There are many symbols and I’ll attach a page of the authentic designs that “I” used in this pattern. I started an Aborigine inspired quilt in the Kaffe Fassett class.
