“Twisted Circles” & “Twisty Points”
Enjoy these fun “Modern” quilts with MeadowLyon’s twisty patterns, eg. Star Twist, Bubble Twist, Flurry, Tornado, Modern Squares, Illusion, Jitterbug, & Coils, etc.
One of the best things about the “Modern Quilt Movement” is that the negative space makes them quick to piece so you can hurry to the “quilting.” In some ways, it’s a breath of fresh air!
For ease in making a PDF file, I’ve drawn these sized for 8” blocks. However, I think they’d be very nice enlarged to 10” or even 12” blocks.
Use similar colors to those I’ve chosen or make them “scrappy.”
I’ve shown each pattern first as a final layout picture.
Plus, I’ve super-imposed several MeadowLyon pantos over the images so you can imagine them with fun “Twisty” quilting.
The pattern for “Twisted Circles” can be copied and cut. The size is 48.5″ Square without binding.
The pattern for “Twisty Points” should be paper pieced. The size is 48.5″ x 65.5″ without binding.
