Description

“Get a head start on celebrations for Thanksgiving with our fascinating Table Topper pictogram.  On one side the Plymouth Chief is rowing out to meet the strange white flying canoe.  On another the Indians are getting ready for their visitors. Next, Pilgrims are bringing their food with children in tow and on the 4th side they are all relishing the the feast.  Which scene will you enjoy during your Thanksgiving meal?  It all depends on which side of the table you are sitting; whether it’s next to Uncle Joe, or cousin Ida.  Get there early to choose your favorite spot!

I stitched it up with silk leaves under a sheer top. I position it diagonally in the center of the tablecloth and place my flower arrangement in the middle. I want to make another in an earthy red color with appliqued leaves fanning out around the edge.  You could add a border of maple leaves or letter a Thanksgiving Hymn if you wanted it bigger. What color is your holiday table setting?”

I made it reversible – the green side is the back, but I took the pix before I finished and cut the thresads 🙁  Also the burnt orange is the back of the gold one.

This is not a big square whole cloth pattern although it looks like it.  It all comes on one long 12 ft. roll.  It makes a 36″ square decorated with scenes of Pilgrims, Native Americans, the Mayflower, and the first Thanksgiving feast.  It would make a great last minute hostess gift.
