So many people love chickens here in Kansas. When my daughter went to play at Olive’s house in the country we always had fun watching the hens scratch and waddle. (Don’t know if that’s the right terminology, but they do!)
Here are a few fun quilts to show. RIP Louise was created in memory of Teddy Ahern’s favorite chicken who died. Hmm I can’t remember was it coyotes? or Sunday dinner? You’ll see she separated the individual chickens and colored each with crayons -then heat-set them.
