Fiddle Ferns 14″

Description

This is a big voluptuous version of our popular 11″ Fiddle Ferns.

Although this pattern was designed to be quilted horizontally across a quilt, it can also be quilted vertically and aligned in an alternate fashion to create a series of Fiddle Fern Hearts over the surface of the quilt. See indications on the pattern.

The attached layouts provide some ideas for arranging this Fiddle Fern Pattern.

I really became acquainted with Fiddle Ferns when we lived in Monterey, CA.  The backyard was a forest of ferns and my little boys hacked a maze through them. They had so much fun and the ferns, thankfully, all grew right back!
